These fibers have been specifically created to provide high modulus of strength on initial impact. The adhesive is a highly aggressive acrylic system that delivers high tack, low peel, and high shear strength. This product has an excellent adhesion to metal or wood. The adhesive has excellent cold temperature and condensation resistance with an extremely wide application gradient and a built-in ultra violet stabilizer system. One Ty-Gard® band is capable of safely securing 5000kgs of cargo weight (Dangerous Goods) at acceleration forces in accordance with 12195-2:2001 and is fully in compliance with the US DOT and US AAR requirements. In fact, Ty-Gard® is the only semi-flexible cargo restraint system, which is approved in by the US Railroads. Ty-Patch coated with our pressure sensitive adhesive welds the system together. Installation requires only a bonding roller and a tensioning tool. No nails, bolting or sawing is required.
